Chauffeured Driving Tour
Sit back and enjoy the back roads and stunning views of the foothills, montane and high peaks
of Boulder County and the surrounding area. $600 , 4-6hours, light beverages/snacks included.
This is a customized geography driving tour and will bring you through the lesser-known nooks and hidden arteries of the Boulder County region—a journey tailored to and accommodating your special requests for your curiosity of natural history, local artisans, eateries and off-the-map scenery. There will be stops along the way for breaks, food and drink.
Chauffeured transport in this unique and eco-conscious tour will be in a safe and quiet electric vehicle, winding through a tapestry of obscure paved byways and rustic dirt roads. See hidden topographies and off-the-beaten-path beauty.
As your personal guide I will provide insights to the geologic processes that shaped the Front Range Rockies, the evolving landscapes and eco-systems. I’ll also provide an overview of the cultural history of mining and settlements and the transition to a science, entrepreneurial and international tourist destination. I'll discuss some of the local efforts for sustainability and climate change adaptations on our travels — making this not just a tour of landscape, but of legacy.

Upon your approval of a written text/emailed itinerary and a deposit I will assemble your trip and meet you at a designated time and location. Payment in full at meet up via Venmo, PayPal or cash.
We will meet at a place of your choice. Our tour will start with two or three overviews of the Boulder Valley area before we head west into the the mountains via one of several routes, based on your interests, time, weather and traffic. Pre-arranged visits to one or two local artists can occur. I will forward a list of active studios timed during your visit and make arrangements with the artist(s). There are several eateries along the way where we can stop as you like - purchases are not included in this tour. Stops for supplied light refreshments, photos of classic vistas and wildlife will occur. Tour driving times typically run 3 to 6 hours dependent on your interests and time you have available. One to three maximum riders - under 18 must be accompanied by adult.

E-Mtn. Bike Boulder
Foothills & Montane
Front Range foothills and montane routes are for experienced road, gravel and mountain bike riders. I will arrange for your E-Mtn Bike rental from a local shop or ride your own E-Mountain Bike. Bike rental is a separate fee from E-bike tours.

The terrain varies from paved and dirt county roads to easy and intermediate single track. Depending on your interests, time and weather we will meet at a local bike shop, get you fitted (helmets included), pay balance of bike rental fee, sign their waiver.

Option one, we will ride from the bike shop, see parts of Boulder and proceed on a couple foothill ride options that will offer amazing views of the plains to the east and high peaks to the west. Ride elevations would tend to be between 6,000ft - 8,000ft (1,800m - 2,400m).

Option two, is load bikes onto my trailer and drive to a trail head in the mountains and ride towards and on the flanks of the peaks. Ride elevations would tend to be between 8,000ft-9,500ft (2,400m to 3,000m).

Riders are expected to have comfortable riding cloths, rain jacket and gloves. Sunscreen and lip balm are also recommended.

E-Bike Boulder Valley
The Boulder Valley routes are for beginner to advanced riders, where we will travel on paved and dirt bike paths. I will arrange for your E-Bike rental from a local shop or ride your own E-Bike. Bike rental is a separate fee for E-bike tours.

The terrain varies from paved and dirt county roads to some of Boulder's intensive bicycle paths. Depending on your interests, time and weather we will meet at a local bike shop, get you fitted (helmets included), pay balance of bike rental fee, sign their waiver.

We will ride from the bike shop, see parts of Boulder and then proceed on a loop that will offer amazing views of the plains to the high peaks to the west. Riding elevations are between 5,000ft and 6,000ft (1,500 - 1,800m).
